Gould Barbers is looking for a skilled and motivated Self-Employed Senior Barber to join our team.

What You’ll Need:

  • 3+ years experience as a barber
  • Your own tools
  • Great customer service & timekeeping
  • Passion for your craft and a professional attitude
  • Prior experience in a senior role is preferred but not essential

Responsibilities:

  • Provide high-quality barbering services, including haircuts and beard trims
  • Engage with clients to understand their preferences and offer personalized styling advice
  • Maintain a clean and organized workspace to ensure a welcoming environment
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by addressing client needs and concerns promptly
  • Manage day-to-day running of the shop, including rotas, presentation and stock levels
  • Supervise staff to maintain a consistently high standard in store
  • Maintain a motivated, professional and welcoming environment for all clients and staff
  • Promote culture of outstanding, consistent customer service
  • Provide support and training for junior barbers
  • Work closely with area managers to improve shop performance
