About the Role

We are seeking an inspiring and committed Maths Teacher to join our forward-thinking school community. This is a fantastic opportunity for a passionate educator looking to find their “forever school”—a place where creativity, curiosity, and a love of learning are at the heart of everything we do.

You will teach KS3 and KS4 students, with responsibility for preparing pupils for GCSE mathematics, delivering engaging lessons that spark curiosity and build confidence.

Our classes are intentionally small (maximum of 10 pupils), allowing you to truly personalise learning in a calm, respectful, and highly supportive environment.

What Makes Us Different

  • Small class sizes (max. 10 students)
  • Creative, emotionally intelligent learners
  • A collaborative, innovative teaching team
  • A calm and purposeful learning environment
  • Opportunities for career progression (e.g. Attendance Lead, Head of Teaching & Learning, Exams Officer)

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver engaging, differentiated maths lessons tailored to a range of abilities, including students with additional needs
  • Plan and implement innovative lessons aligned with curriculum standards
  • Prepare students effectively for GCSE examinations
  • Provide personalised mentoring and targeted interventions
  • Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment
  • Contribute to whole-school development and take on leadership responsibilities where appropriate
  • Use IT effectively to enhance teaching and learning

About You

  • Proven track record of successful maths teaching
  • Strong subject knowledge (algebra, geometry, statistics, etc.)
  • Experience supporting a range of learning needs, including SEND
  • Excellent communication and classroom management skills
  • A reflective practitioner who is eager to learn and grow
  • A team player who brings energy, creativity, and commitment

Advantage: Confident in teaching basic IT skills and supporting wider digital development across the school

Pay: £150.00-£200.00 per day

Benefits:

  • Company pension
  • Free parking
  • On-site parking

Work Location: In person
