Locations: Bexhill & Hastings Campuses (East Sussex)

Salary: £24,500–£32,000 depending on qualifications and experience

Hours: Full-Time and Part-Time opportunities available

Start Date: August 2026 (teaching from September 2026)

London Learning Consortium (LLC/DV8) is seeking Functional Skills English and Maths Tutors to support learner achievement across our East Sussex campuses. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

Assistant Principal opportunities may also be available for suitably experienced candidates with curriculum leadership or management experience.

FUNCTIONAL SKILLS ENGLISH & MATHS - What You’ll Be Doing

  • Deliver engaging teaching across Functional Skills and GCSE English and/or Maths programmes
  • Support learners to achieve qualifications and progression outcomes
  • Track attendance, engagement and achievement
  • Contribute to curriculum planning and quality improvement

What We’re Looking For

  • Relevant qualification or strong subject experience in English or Maths
  • Experience delivering project-based creative vocational learning
  • Teaching qualification desirable
  • Experience supporting learners aged 16–24 desirable
  • Experience supporting learners to achieve GCSE resit or Functional Skills progression outcomes
