Once your CV has been received, you will be sent an application form to complete.

We are looking for dedicated and experienced QTS / QTLS TUTORS to support children and young people. This is a self-employed role, providing therapeutic and trauma-informed mentoring and tutoring to children in care, previously looked-after children, and those with a social worker. We are looking for Tutors to begin immediately following safer recruitment checks.

Pay: £30 per hour
Mileage paid: £0.40 per mile*
Location: Applicants must be based in Coventry or willing to travel.

Essential Requirements:

Must be on the DBS Update Service or have a DBS dated within the last 6 months or be willing to undertake one
Must have completed Safeguarding, GDPR, and Prevent training within the last 2 years
Must be responsible for their own learning and development (at no cost to the company)
Must be self-employed and responsible for own tax affairs

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and support to children in various settings, fostering their personal and academic growth.
  • Develop and implement engaging mentoring programs tailored to individual needs.

  • Facilitate group activities that promote teamwork and social skills.
  • Monitor progress and provide constructive feedback to encourage development.
  • Serve as a positive role model, inspiring youth to achieve their goals.

Pay: £30.00 per hour
