Self-Employed Professional Cleaner

Location: East London

Pay: £15-£22 per labour hour equivalent, depending on the assignment,

verified equipment, experience and service capability

Contract: Self-employed, flexible assignments with no guaranteed hours

About Moppop

Moppop is a managed East London cleaning service for homes, landlords,

Airbnb hosts and businesses. We manage bookings, customer communication,

secure payments, job checklists and quality control.

We are looking for experienced, dependable professional cleaners who take

pride in their work and can represent moppop properly in customers' homes

and workplaces.

The work

Assignments may include:

- Regular and one-off home cleaning

- Deep cleaning

- End-of-tenancy and move-in cleaning

- Airbnb and short-let turnovers

- Office and light commercial cleaning

- After-builders cleaning, where appropriately experienced

Your responsibilities

- Arrive punctually and communicate professionally

- Follow the service-specific room checklist

- Bring suitable equipment and cleaning products

- Upload required before and after photographs

- Report access problems, damage, safety concerns or unexpected conditions

- Protect customer keys, property, privacy and personal information

- Leave accurate completion notes after every assignment

Essential requirements

- At least two years of paid professional cleaning experience

- Your own suitable cleaning equipment and products

- A smartphone with reliable mobile data

- Reliable travel to customer properties across East London

- Two recent, verifiable work references

- Permission to work on a self-employed basis in the UK

- Willingness to complete identity and right-to-work checks

- Willingness to follow checklists and provide job photographs

- Professional spoken and written communication

- Public liability insurance, or willingness to obtain it before live work

Preferred

- Deep-cleaning, end-of-tenancy or Airbnb turnover experience

- Basic DBS certificate

- Carpet-cleaning or specialist equipment

- Access to suitable transport

- Experience handling property keys or lockbox access

Pay and contractor arrangement

Assignments are offered individually. You choose whether to accept them

and may work for other customers or businesses. Work is not guaranteed.

Standard assignments currently pay from £15 per labour hour equivalent.

Verified full-kit, end-of-tenancy, Airbnb, lead-cleaner and specialist

assignments may pay more, up to £22 per labour hour equivalent. Any

job-specific rate is shown before you accept the assignment.

Cleaners are responsible for their own tax, National Insurance, expenses

and insurance. Approved completed work is included in moppop's regular

payment runs with a job-by-job statement.

documentation and paid-trial performance.

Pay: £15.00-£22.00 per hour
