Summary

We are offering an opportunity to develop a career in digital health. The role mainly makes use of an asynchronous online consultation that includes a detailed medical questionnaire, supporting evidence and cutting-edge technology to allow the clinician to make a prescribing decision.

Although you are working from home, you are never working alone as you will work as part of a team with a senior clinician always available to assist you. There are also regular clinical team meetings, education events and the opportunity to develop your leadership skills. We have robust safety checks and audits in place to ensure the role is low risk.

Strong leadership and a fantastic friendly and approachable team with ongoing support from our Clinical Team, including support through your annual appraisals.

Hexpress Healthcare has a strong governance framework and focus on safety that helps ensure that patients always receive the best care possible.

Within this role, there is the possibility of growth into Clinical Leadership roles in the innovative medical field of digital health.

Responsibilities

  • Work a minimum of 16 hours per week - Monday (remote), Tuesday (office)
  • Attend a fully comprehensive onsite paid induction/onboarding and training programme to ensure you know exactly how our platform works
  • Online prescribing from medical questionnaires
  • Recording clear and contemporaneous consultation notes to agreed standards
  • Prescribing in accordance with our prescribing formulary (or generically), whenever this is clinically appropriate.

Qualification Requirements

  • Pharmacist who is an independent prescriber with a minimum of 1 year, preferably 3 years, post-qualification experience
  • Registered with the GPhC with a licence to practise
  • Good clinical judgement, built up over relevant clinical experience
  • Curious and open to new developments within medicine, digital and business
  • Diligent and good at interpreting and adhering to guidelines
  • High level of digital proficiency
  • Good at prioritising workload
  • Good interpersonal skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English (additional languages are a plus)
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills across all levels of the business
