  • Ensuring the department operates in line with Ford manufacturer standards, processes and requirements
  • Maintaining and developing the excellent relationship we have with Ford, ensuring we continue to represent the brand to the highest standard
  • Working closely with Ford's commercial vehicle and field teams to maximise opportunities and deliver against agreed objectives
  • Taking ownership of manufacturer programmes, campaigns and initiatives within the department
  • Playing an active role in the day-to-day running and development of the commercial vehicle department
  • Rotational weekend working as part of the management team

What we're looking for

This is not an entry-level management opportunity.

We are looking for candidates who can demonstrate previous experience in a similar Commercial Vehicle Sales Manager or Commercial Sales Management role and can show a proven track record of delivering results.

You will need to have:

  • Demonstrable experience managing a commercial vehicle sales operation or team
  • A strong understanding of the commercial vehicle market
  • Proven sales and target achievement experience
  • The ability to lead, motivate and hold a team accountable
  • Excellent communication and customer relationship skills
  • The ability to build and maintain strong relationships with both customers and manufacturer partners
  • A commercial and results-driven approach
  • The confidence to make decisions and take ownership
  • High standards around customer service, process and compliance
  • A clear understanding of the importance of manufacturer standards and maintaining a strong manufacturer relationship

We are particularly interested in people who understand that successful commercial vehicle sales is about more than simply selling vans. Building long-term relationships with business customers, understanding their needs and finding the right solution is a key part of the role.

What we offer

  • Competitive salary and bonus package dependent on experience
  • The opportunity to lead an established commercial vehicle sales operation
  • Manufacturer-backed brand and product range
