The Food & Beverage Operations Manager is responsible for the operational delivery of all food and beverage services across the whole estate. Working closely with the Director of Food & Beverage, Estate Kitchen, Events Team and wider operational departments, you will oversee planning, staffing, service delivery and operational standards while driving consistency, efficiency and exceptional guest satisfaction.

This role requires a highly organised hospitality professional with strong leadership skills, attention to detail and experience managing high-volume luxury events.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day operation of all Food & Beverage services across the estate, ensuring exceptional service and smooth delivery.
  • Oversee the successful execution of weddings, corporate events, private dining experiences, festivals and seasonal events.
  • Work closely with the Events Team and F&B Outlet Managers to plan and deliver seamless guest experiences.
  • Lead, motivate and develop a high-performing Food & Beverage team through coaching, training and performance management.
  • Manage recruitment, onboarding and staffing levels to meet operational demands.
  • Maintain the highest standards of luxury hospitality, ensuring excellent food, beverage and guest service at every touchpoint.
  • Plan staffing, operational timelines and event logistics, coordinating resources across multiple venues.
  • Monitor productivity, support stock control and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with Food Safety, Health & Safety, licensing and company policies.
  • Develop and maintain departmental training, SOPs and service standards to drive continuous improvement.
  • Act as a visible, hands-on leader, resolving operational issues and supporting the team throughout service.

We're looking for someone who brings:

  • Minimum 3–5 years' experience in Food & Beverage operations management
  • Experience managing luxury hospitality operations
  • Strong leadership and people management skills
  • Experience delivering weddings and large-scale events
  • Excellent organisational skills.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Financial awareness including labour management.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Professional appearance.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
  • Flexible approach to working evenings, weekends and peak event periods.
