Full job description

We’re looking for an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house team in our new 40-cover Pie Room in the heart of Central London, known for its exceptional pies and classic British fare.

About the Role

This is a hands-on management position in a fast-paced environment where high standards and genuine hospitality are key. You’ll oversee daily service, ensuring smooth table turns, beautifully set linen tables, and an atmosphere that reflects the warmth and quality of a true British pub.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead by example to deliver exceptional customer experiences every service.
  • Manage and motivate front-of-house staff, developing newcomers into confident and professional waiters.
  • Ensure efficient table turns, clean resets, and immaculate dining standards.
  • Drive sales through effective upselling and strong product knowledge, especially with wines and pub classics.
  • Maintain a strong working relationship with the kitchen to deliver a seamless guest experience.
  • Uphold consistent service and cleanliness standards across every shift.

About You

  • Proven experience in a fast-paced restaurant or pub setting.
  • Strong organisational and leadership skills.
  • Excellent understanding of customer service, wine pairing, and upselling.
  • A genuine passion for British food, hospitality, and quality products.
  • Hands-on approach with the ability to train and inspire teams.

Salary: Up to £14/hr-15/hr plus TRONC
