Role Overview
Reporting to the Director of Procurement, the Procurement Lead will directly contribute to the development of the Procurement Strategy ensuring maximum business and customer benefit from our suppliers and supply chain, both in relation to commercial advantage and furtherance of our strategic business aims.
The initial focus of the function is concentrated on Direct and Indirect, non-Development Spend of c.£120m across typical Real Estate categories including Repairs and Maintenance; Facilities Management; Furniture and Indirect categories (IT, HR, Marketing). Development Spend is currently out of scope but exceeds £1 billion secured developments in the pipeline (indirectly addressable).
Through excellent stakeholder engagement, market knowledge and category expertise the Procurement Lead will directly contribute to the development and success of the Procurement function and create solutions for Grainger that create value and support the delivery of Grainger’s corporate objectives. These strategies will drive commercial and operational improvement
