Due to continued growth, we are looking for an experienced Sonographer to join our permanent team.

The Opportunity

As a Sonographer at Medinet, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality ultrasound services, working within a supportive and patient-centred environment. You will be responsible for performing and reporting a range of ultrasound examinations while maintaining the highest standards of clinical care, professionalism, and patient experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform and independently report ultrasound examinations.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and reports.
• Deliver a high standard of patient care and customer service.
• Ensure compliance with professional, clinical, and regulatory standards.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in quality assurance, audit, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge and continuing professional development (CPD).

Essential Requirements

• PGCert, PgDip or MSc in Medical Ultrasound (or equivalent).
• Significant post-qualification experience as a Sonographer.
• Competent in independently performing and reporting ultrasound examinations.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong commitment to patient-centred care.
• Full right to work in the UK.

Desirable Skills

Experience in one or more of the following areas:

• General Abdominal Ultrasound
• Gynaecology Ultrasound
• Obstetric Ultrasound
• Small Parts Ultrasound
• Musculoskeletal (MSK) Ultrasound
• Vascular Ultrasound

Professional registration with HCPC, NMC, or equivalent is desirable.
