Overview
Falcon Manor is seeking a dedicated Kitchen Porter to join our esteemed team. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the hospitality industry and eager to develop their culinary and organisational skills. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining a clean and efficient kitchen environment, supporting our culinary team, and ensuring the smooth operation of daily kitchen activities. Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant settings is advantageous but not essential, as full training will be provided. This paid position is ideal for those looking to gain valuable hospitality experience in a professional setting.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks to support the kitchen team
  • Ensure all kitchen areas are kept clean, organised, and hygienic in accordance with health and safety standards
  • Wash, dry, and store crockery, cutlery, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils
  • Support with waste disposal and recycling procedures
  • Help with stock organisation and replenishment of supplies as needed
  • Maintain cleanliness of work surfaces, floors, and equipment throughout shifts
  • Support the serving staff during busy periods when required
  • Follow all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment at all times

Experience

  • Previous experience in food preparation or restaurant environments is desirable but not essential
  • Experience working in a hotel or hospitality setting is a plus
