Job Summary
We are seeking a creative and passionate Florist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of floral design and a keen eye for detail, ensuring that every arrangement is aesthetically pleasing and meets customer expectations. As a Florist, you will be responsible for creating beautiful floral arrangements for various occasions, providing excellent customer service, and maintaining the overall appearance of the shop.

Responsibilities

  • Design and create floral arrangements for various events such as weddings, funerals, and corporate functions.
  • Assist customers in selecting flowers and arrangements that meet their needs and preferences.
  • Maintain inventory of flowers and supplies, ensuring freshness and quality.
  • Organise the shop layout to create an inviting atmosphere for customers.
  • Sell floral products and provide information on care instructions to enhance customer satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and exceptional service.
  • Keep the work area clean and organised, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Experience

  • Minimum of 2 years previous experience as a Florist is essential.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage with customers.
  • A passion for flowers and creativity in floral design is essential.
  • Interflora trained would be an advantage but not essential.
