Lakeland Leather is long established as one of the centre's leading independent retailers, specialising in luxury leather garments and accessories.

We're recruiting a Part-Time Permanent Sales Assistant to join the friendly team. Available hours range from 10 to 20 per week. Some flexibility on working days is required, as is the ability to work some weekends.

Initially we're recruiting on a temporary basis, through to the end of January 2027, but permanent opportunities may arise for the right person.

Ideal candidates will be sales focused, able to demonstrate an excellent record of face to face customer service in a retail environment and have great communication skills. Above all though, we love to recruit team members with a positive outlook and a can-do attitude.

Full training will be offered on all aspects of the role, including on Lakeland Leather's fabulous products.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with product inquiries and provide exceptional service to enhance their shopping experience.
• Maintain store displays and ensure merchandise is organised and visually appealing.
• Manage inventory levels and assist in restocking products as needed.
• Demonstrate effective time management and organisational skills to complete daily tasks efficiently.
• Communicate clearly with customers and colleagues.
