Deluxe Staffing Limited is hiring on behalf of our client for a talented Chef de Partie to join their production kitchen team near the Feltham and Heathrow Airport area.

In this role, you will help deliver high-quality meals, ensuring culinary standards meet the expectations of premium airline passengers. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong culinary skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.

What You Will Be Doing

Reporting to the Sous Chef, you will work closely with the operations team to fulfill orders promptly and maintain high quality:

  • Prepare, cook, and present high-quality dishes in accordance with standard recipes and specifications.
  • Oversee a specific section of the kitchen, managing and training junior staff as needed.
  • Monitor inventory levels and assist with stock control to ensure ingredient freshness.
  • Adhere strictly to food safety and hygiene standards.
  • Assist in implementing cost control measures to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.
  • Maintain essential knife skills and demonstrate a sound knowledge of diverse cooking techniques.
  • Collaborate with the team to contribute ideas for improving kitchen processes and food quality.

Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of professional kitchen experience, ideally within airline catering or large-scale food production.
  • Education: Culinary diploma or equivalent qualification from a recognized culinary school.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations; excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Competencies: Ability to work safely, efficiently, and neatly under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work various shifts, including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
