Full job description
We are looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate individual to join Women’s Health Psychological Services on a 12-month fixed term contract, to provide psychological assessments, consultation and short-term interventions within the Reproductive Medicine Unit (RMU).
The post-holder is expected to demonstrate training and experience relating to working in the NHS (or equivalent) and with medical populations.
Please be advised that we will only accept applications from candidates:
A) Qualified to use the protected title of Practitioner Psychologist (Clinical or Counselling)
OR
B) Psychotherapist or Senior Fertility Counsellor registered with the UKCP / BACP, with additional BICA accreditation (British Infertility Counselling Registration).

- consultations regarding decision-making for fertility preservation
- Implications Counselling for patients considering donor conception
- Welfare of the Child Assessments
- therapeutic support for patients undergoing fertility treatment.
