Full job description

We are looking for an experienced Property Manager to take ownership of the day-to-day management of our residential lettings portfolio.

This is a hands-on, practical role for someone organised and methodical who follows things through. You will be the main link between tenants, landlords, contractors and our lettings team, making sure properties are safe, compliant, well maintained and ready to let.

The role

  • Coordinating day-to-day maintenance, logging issues, instructing contractors, obtaining quotes and confirming works are completed
  • Owning property compliance, including gas safety, EPCs, EICRs, fire safety and HMO requirements, with renewals booked ahead of expiry
  • Carrying out regular property inspections and following up on the findings
  • Planning tenancy changeovers, inventories, check-ins and check-outs
  • Compiling clear, properly evidenced deposit deductions at the end of tenancies
  • Managing keys, utilities and keeping property records accurate on our property management software - Street

About you

  • Experience in residential property management
  • Solid working knowledge of UK lettings legislation and property compliance
  • Highly organised, able to juggle a lot without losing track of anything
  • Confident, professional communication with tenants, landlords and contractors
  • Full UK driving licence for property visits
  • Ideally ARLA / Propertymark qualified but not essential

What we offer

  • £30,000 – £36,000 per annum, depending on experience
  • Monday to Friday working a 40 hour week
  • 28 days holiday including bank holidays
  • Workplace pension and mileage covered for property visits
  • Support towards ARLA / Propertymark qualifications
