Full job description

We are looking for an experienced Van Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely and efficiently carrying out collections from various locations. The Van Driver must be able to read maps, follow directions, and maintain a valid driver's license. The ideal candidate will have excellent customer service skills, a good driving record, and the ability to lift heavy objects. There is a weekly attendance bonus in place for full attendance PPE is provided.

Responsibilities:

  • Follow the rules of the road and safety regulations.
  • Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
  • Perform daily pre-trip inspections.
  • Load and unload cargo safely and efficiently.
  • Ensure that all paperwork is completed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Communicate with customers and provide excellent customer service.
  • Follow delivery instructions accurately.
  • Previous applicants need not apply.
  • This role may lead to the successful applicant given training to become an HGV driver.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £13.00-£14.00 per hour
