The transport department is looking to recruit an experienced and reliable driver.

Bonus is attainable after successful completion of a probation period.

About the role

Drivers are required to deliver Klarius goods across various nationwide drop points. Ensuring proper handling and delivery of sensitive materials and delivering high standards of customer care is key. You need excellent driving skills, a clean driving record, and a valid driving license. In addition, strong communication and customer service skills as the role does involve face to face interactions with customers.

Responsibilities:

• Keeping an accurate record of deliveries through recording up to date delivery notes
• Properly using and maintaining delivery equipment, including use of company smart phones to record drops
• This role will include the lifting of heavy exhausts or other products
• Drives safely and follow all laws and rules of driving to maintain a safe and healthy work environment
• Keep company van clean and ensure it is well maintained through completing a daily inspection
• Communicate with the appropriate departments to update them of changes in delivery times or any issues or changes to estimated arrival times
• Follows pre-planned routes accurately without deviation from set course

Hours

• Early morning starts usually around 2am, hours vary according to route but will total 48 hours p/w, unless flexibility is required in which case an overtime rate will apply

Pay

£11.44 p/h
