We are looking for a new driver, for our rapidly expanding company, who can take deliveries to our trade customers ALL around the uk, so very early starts required on some days and also picking up raw meat and tripe, Which does smell, from abattoirs, so nobody squeemish please. This is a physical job so applicants need to be physically fit. PPE will be provided, Driving our own 3.5 tonne refrigerated vehicles.

You will also be required to work around the yard, tidying up pallets and helping to fill and load courier boxes from time to time

40+ hours per week.

The candidates must be numerate and literate as filling out some paperwork is essential

Reliability and physical fitness is essential

You must look after and be responsible for the van that you drive.

Must be prepared to do overtime if required

Must be able to count in and check orders from an order sheet when delivering to trade customers

Weekend work will be required from time to time

This post is initially a 6 month trial with a pay increase when the trial has been completed successfully

Salary: £11.50 per hour whilst on trial, rising once trial is succesfully completed (Due to change April 2025)
