Business Opportunity Overview:
As a self-employed delivery contractor within HIVED’s Take Home Programme, you'll have complete control over your schedule and earnings. Enjoy the freedom and flexibility of running your own business, while benefiting from guaranteed daily earnings, performance-based incentives, and comprehensive operational support. Use your own van or leverage our vehicle leasing partners, with complete freedom to use the van for personal or other business purposes outside your delivery blocks.
Key Information:
- Contract Type: Self-employed contractor
- Deposit: £500 (required upon contract acceptance)
- Location: Specifically seeking self-employed individuals based in East London or nearby areas to ensure short travel distances and efficient delivery routes
- Routes & Scheduling: Flexible and fixed delivery blocks available, operating 7 days a week (route schedules vary weekly)
- Route Duration: Up to 10 hours (dependent on traffic)
- Compensation: Earn between £100 and £200 per day (performance-based)
- Earnings Guarantee: Minimum daily earning of £100 per completed route
- Payment Frequency: Fortnightly
- Vehicle Options: Use your own electric van or we can connect you with our trusted electric van leasing partners
- Sorting: No sorting required; routes are pre-sorted to minimise your depot time
Ideal Candidates:
- Motivated self-starters interested in running their own business or being self-employed
- Individuals seeking flexibility, independence, and control over their income
- Drivers with multi-drop experience preferred (though not essential)
Requirements:
- Full UK Driving Licence (minimum 1 year, with no more than 6 points)
- ID/Passport/Proof of Right to Work in the UK
- Proof of address and minimum 3 years electoral roll registration
- DVLA Check code (obtainable via government website)
- Soft credit check may apply
- Own vehicle insurance (required)
- If using your own van, it must be a medium-sized electric van
Preferred Skills:
- 6+ months multi-drop delivery experience
- Effective time management to meet delivery schedules
- Strong communication skills for customer interaction and operational coordination
