Lion Express are looking for Multi-Drop Van Drivers for our well established parcel delivery client based in Paddock Wood,TN12.
You will be delivering/collecting in a dedicated area within TN & CT Postcodes, once allocated a route this will be yours allowing you autonomy.
Rate of pay is £130 per day, using our vehicle & our fuel, so no outlay for yourself while working. No van rental required. Additional earning is available.
The routes are available Tuesday - Saturday.
An expectation of between 60 - 120 stops per day is required. this will include making timed collections and deliveries although not the whole day is timed. The amount of stops depends on density & distance from site.
You will plan & load your own route, ensuring you prioritize your timed deliveries.
Full Training is provided and on-going/mentoring is ensured that you are successful.
Duties:
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers
- Safely drive a commercial van (mercedes sprinter or similar) to deliver packages
- Load and unload goods from the van
- Perform heavy lifting when required
- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations
- Maintain the cleanliness of the vehicle.
- Complete delivery processes accurately and promptly
Skills:
- Previous experience in delivery driver roles
- Proficient driving skills with a valid driving licence
- Ability to drive a van safely and efficiently
- Capability to lift heavy items when necessary

- Valid UK driving licence held for over 12 months.
- Excellent driving record with no major traffic violations (No DD, IN or DR codes accepted)
