About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit Van Driver for immediate start. In this role, you will be responsible for collecting and delivering goods across the UK. The position involves manual loading and unloading with a parcel trolley or pump truck and tail-lift, so a good level of physical fitness is essential.

A strong knowledge of Central London’s road network is advantageous.

Must have delivery experience in a van, preferably a tail-lift Luton but not essential.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collection & Delivery: Transport goods safely and efficiently across the UK.
  • Loading & Unloading: Manually handle goods using a parcel trolley when required.
  • Route Planning: Navigate efficiently using maps or GPS to ensure timely deliveries.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Conduct daily vehicle checks to ensure roadworthiness.
  • Customer Service: Maintain professionalism and provide excellent service to clients.
  • Time Management: Ensure timely deliveries, meeting schedule requirements.

Requirements

  • Experience preferred but not essential: Minimum 2 years of long-distance delivery driving in panel vans or Luton vans with tail-lift and pump truck.
  • Licence: Full UK driving licence with no more than 3 penalty points.
  • Knowledge: Good understanding of the UK road network (Central London knowledge is a plus).
  • Physical Fitness: Comfortable with manual handling and loading/unloading.
  • Reliability: Strong timekeeping and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Availability: Flexible start times between 4:00 AM – 7:00 AM.
  • Experience: 2 years’ long distance delivery experience in panel or Luton vans.
