Job Description: Self-Employed Delivery Driver for SJC Distributions

SJC Distributions, in partnership with the world’s biggest online retailer, is offering self-employed driver positions. We’re looking for reliable, hardworking, and driven individuals to deliver packages and provide exceptional customer experiences.

• License Requirements: Full (Manual) UK driving license, max 6 points, no active IN, DR, DD, DU, or TT codes.
• Physical Fitness: Able to lift packages up to 23kg.
• Screening: Must pass a criminal background check and a drug & alcohol test.
• Commuting: Able to commute to and from the delivery station.

Role Overview: What Does a Delivery Associate Do?

• Driving Duties: Drive a 3.5 ton van to deliver packages within the community.
• Route Length: Typical routes are 8-9 hours long.
• Safety Compliance: Follow strict safety standards on and off the road.
• Customer Interaction: Engage with customers professionally and positively.
• Technology Use: Utilise handheld technology to manage deliveries.
