Who Are We?

Simba Courier Logistics Ltd is a well-established, Glasgow-based courier service delivering in the Ayrshire area for the biggest eCommerce platform on the planet!

Drivers will report daily to our depot at DXG2 – Baillieston Glasgow - Delivering to Ayrshire. Early start times, 6 or 9 hour work day. We are a weekend and week day operation.

What We’re Looking For

  • Previous delivery experience preferred (e.g. Royal Mail, Asda, Tesco, Amazon, Evri, Yodel, DPD, DX)
  • Full UK or EU driving licence
  • Maximum 6 penalty points (no CD, DR, DG, IN or TT codes)
  • Must be at least 21 years old (insurance requirement)
  • Proof of Right to Work
  • Ability to pass a DBS check
  • Reliable, punctual, and responsible
  • Strong customer service skills and attention to detail
  • Flexible and able to follow instructions
  • Good level of fitness
  • Safe and careful driving
  • Confident using a smartphone or willing to learn

Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a delivery van for multi-drop deliveries
  • Plan and follow routes to ensure timely deliveries
  • Load and unload parcels (including heavy lifting when required)
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members
  • Deliver excellent customer service
  • Follow all road safety laws and company procedures

We support you through the whole process of setting up as a driver. You will be your own boss.

As a driver, you simply turn up 30 minutes before departure, load your van, and then head out on your delivery route. It’s that simple!

You will be using a hand-held device that helps to monitor your progress and explains your route.

Rate: £643.5-£922.20 per week

The onboarding process can begin immediately after a successful first interview. A swift and assured response to our ad can see you on the road in 1-2 weeks or less.
