Part Time Van Driver

Location: Newbury
Pay Rate: £15.00 per hour
Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30–12:30
Start Date: ASAP
Job Type: Temporary

Abacus Employment are recruiting for an experienced Van Driver on behalf of our client based in the Newbury area.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering products to customers across Berkshire, completing approximately 4–5 drops per day and ensuring deliveries are carried out safely and on time.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Deliver products to customers across Berkshire, completing approximately 4–5 drops per day.
  • Load and unload goods as required.
  • Ensure deliveries are completed safely and efficiently.
  • Provide a professional and friendly service to customers.
  • Occasionally work full days depending on the needs of the business.

Requirements:

  • Previous van driving and delivery experience is essential.
  • Full, valid driving licence.
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
  • Good communication skills and a professional attitude.

Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 08:30–12:30, with flexibility to work occasional full days depending on business requirements.

Contract Opportunities:

This is initially a temporary position, with the potential opportunity to move into a full-time, fixed-term 12-month contract. Please note that this is not guaranteed and will depend on the needs of the business.
