Join Our Production Kitchen Team

Newlyns is looking for a talented and passionate Home Baker to join our busy Production Kitchen team. If you love baking, have a keen eye for detail, and enjoy creating delicious desserts and pastries from scratch, we'd love to hear from you.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong home baking experience who is looking to turn their passion into a rewarding career within a professional food production environment.

The role is three days a week, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday 8-4.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Producing pastry, puddings and frozen desserts for our farm shop.
  • Preparing and baking products to consistently high standards
  • Following recipes while maintaining excellent quality and presentation
  • Maintaining food hygiene and kitchen cleanliness standards
  • Working as part of a friendly and supportive production team

What We're Looking For

  • A genuine passion for baking.
  • Strong home baking experience, with confidence working with pastry and sweet products
  • Excellent attention to detail and consistency
  • Good organisational skills and a positive attitude
  • Understanding of food hygiene practices
  • Professional kitchen experience is helpful but not essential, as training can be provided for the right candidate
