ASSISTANT BAR MANAGER

The Roundhill Vegan Pub & Dining is entering an exciting new chapter, and we’re looking for an experienced Assistant Bar Manager to help lead the team as we build one of Brighton’s most exciting independent pubs.

This isn’t just another bar job. It’s an opportunity to help shape a venue from the ground up, work alongside a passionate team, and play a key role in creating something the local community will be proud of.

We’re looking for someone who:

Has experience managing busy bar services
Can confidently make and serve quality cocktails
Has a good understanding of wine and food pairing
Loves craft beer and enjoys talking customers through the range
Leads by example and isn’t afraid to get stuck in
Thrives under pressure and keeps calm during busy shifts
Is a genuine team player who’s happy to jump behind the bar, run food, change kegs, stock up or help wherever needed
Brings energy, personality and great customer service every single shift

The role includes:

  • Supporting the day-to-day running of the bar
  • Leading shifts and motivating the team
  • Maintaining excellent service standards
  • Stock control and cellar management
  • Training and developing junior team members
  • Working closely with management to help grow the business
  • Creating an atmosphere that keeps customers coming back

We’re looking for someone who wants more than just a job. We want someone who wants to be part of the journey, bring ideas to the table and help build an incredible venue from day one.
