Full job description

An opportunity has arisen for a full-time field-based veterinary adviser to join our farm & equine team.

About the Role:

As valued members of our field sales team, the role of a field veterinary adviser is to:

  • Work collaboratively with our territory managers to achieve annual sales targets by providing scientific and technical support to the sales process
  • Deliver engaging training to veterinary practices, SQPs and farmers to increase confidence in the prescription and use of Virbac products
  • Provide excellence in customer service through phone and email technical support to animal health professionals and end users of our products
  • Support our marketing team in the creation of marketing strategies and communications
  • Inspire confidence in the quality of our products by meticulously executing our pharmacovigilance and quality assurance procedures

This role is field-based supporting our territory managers and customers across the UK & Ireland so will require frequent travel and overnight stays away from home.

About You:

The ideal candidate for this role would be:

  • A confident veterinary surgeon (MRCVS) with significant clinical experience in UK farm animal practice
  • Commercially aware with the drive to succeed in a highly competitive environment
  • A real people person – you’ll be an excellent communicator with the ability to build relationships easily
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
  • Energetic and enthusiastic with the tenacity to succeed
  • Centrally located within the UK with easy access to the motorway network
