About the Role

Our agency partner is an award-winning independent creative agency with over 15 years of experience delivering standout work across sport, FMCG, tourism and fashion. They're passionate about creating bold, visually striking campaigns and are looking for a talented VFX Artist to join their growing creative team.

This is a hands-on role for someone who loves pushing visual boundaries. You'll bring simulations, effects and technical creativity together to create premium content that captures attention and brings ambitious creative ideas to life.

Working across a diverse portfolio of brands, you'll be involved in creating everything from dynamic simulations and visual effects through to compositing and polished final outputs. You'll work closely with the Head of Post-Production and wider creative team, combining technical expertise with strong creative instincts to produce work that looks seriously good and delivers real impact.

IMPORTANT: This role is for someone who thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic agency environment. You'll be managing multiple projects, working to tight deadlines and collaborating across a busy creative team. If you like it calm and predictable, this probably isn't the role for you.

What You'll Be Doing

VFX, Simulations & Visual Effects

✔ Creating high-quality simulations and visual effects for campaigns, branded content and premium creative projects

✔ Using tools such as Houdini, Nuke or the Insydium suite to bring ambitious visual ideas to life

✔ Exploring creative approaches to effects, simulations and technical challenges

✔ Taking work from initial concept and development through to polished final delivery

✔ Creating visually striking work that enhances storytelling and pushes the creative output forward

Compositing & Post-Production

✔ Supporting compositing and integrating VFX seamlessly into wider video and creative content

✔ Working closely with the post-production and creative teams to ensure effects complement the overall creative vision

✔ Maintaining exceptional technical and creative standards across every stage of production

✔ Reviewing and refining your work to ensure every final output is polished and visually compelling

Project Delivery & Collaboration

✔ Managing multiple projects, priorities and deadlines within a fast-moving agency environment

✔ Working closely with the Head of Post-Production, designers, creatives and production teams

✔ Contributing ideas throughout the creative process and helping solve technical and visual challenges

✔ Adapting quickly to changing briefs and priorities whilst maintaining a high standard of craft

✔ Bringing fresh techniques, ideas and emerging tools into the agency's creative process

What You'll Bring to the Table

✔ Strong professional experience within VFX, motion, post-production or a related creative environment

✔ Strong experience with at least one of Houdini, Nuke or the Insydium suite

✔ A portfolio demonstrating high-quality visual effects, simulations and technically impressive creative work

✔ A strong understanding of simulation, effects and visual storytelling

✔ Compositing experience would be highly beneficial

✔ Strong graphic design or illustration skills would be a major advantage

✔ A creative eye alongside the technical ability to bring ambitious ideas to life

✔ Excellent attention to detail and a genuine passion for producing high-quality work

✔ The ability to manage multiple projects and work effectively to tight deadlines

✔ A proactive, curious mindset with a desire to continually explore new techniques, tools and creative possibilities

✔ A collaborative approach and the ability to work closely with creatives, designers and post-production specialists

About You

✔ You're excited by the technical and creative challenge of making something that hasn't been seen before

✔ You enjoy experimenting with simulations, effects and new ways of bringing ideas to life

✔ You've got a brilliant eye for detail and know when something needs that extra bit of polish

✔ You can balance technical problem-solving with strong creative instincts

✔ You're adaptable, collaborative and thrive as part of a busy creative team

✔ You're always curious about what's next, whether that's a new technique, tool or way of creating
