About the Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across a wide range of marketing activities while working alongside an experienced and supportive marketing team. You'll develop valuable skills, work with leading brands, and play an active role in helping us deliver engaging marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
Key Responsibilities:
You will be involved in the following as part of the overall marketing plan:
As a Marketing Apprentice, no two days will be the same. You'll support the marketing team with a variety of activities, including:
· Creating engaging content for social media platforms
· Assisting with the design and distribution of email marketing campaigns
· Supporting the creation of marketing materials for both digital and print channels
· Updating website content, imagery, and product information
· Assisting with photography, video content, and creative projects
· Supporting the planning and promotion of events, exhibitions, and product launches
· Monitoring marketing campaign performance and helping to gather insights
· Assisting with day-to-day marketing administration and project coordination
· Working closely with different departments to help bring campaigns and brand initiatives to life
Requirements
· Right to live and work in the UK.
· Achieved 4/C in GCSE English and maths or equivalents.
· A positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn.
· Excellent communication skills and a confident, professional manner.
· A genuine interest in marketing, content creation, and brand promotion.
· Experience using Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Photoshop, Illustrator, or InDesign) or a willingness to develop these skills.
· Familiarity with social media platforms and an understanding of how businesses use them to engage audiences.
· An interest in graphic design, photography, video creation, or other creative disciplines would be advantageous.
· A keen interest in the outdoor, shooting sports, defence, or related industries.
· A full UK driving licence and access to transport is preferred due to the location and occasional event attendance.
· Ability to obtain and maintain a DBS check.
· Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
· Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
· Some exposure to marketing through education, work experience, personal projects, or social media activities is desirable.
The Apprenticeship
This role will be part of a level three Multi-Channel Marketer apprenticeship provided by The Marketing Trainer. The apprenticeship covers a wide range of topics over its 15-month duration, including:
· Campaign management;
· Content creation;
· Social Media marketing;
· Digital and traditional communications;
· Brand management;
· Communication skills;
· Project Management;
· And much, much more.
All training and support will be conducted remotely via small group training cohorts and one-to-one coaching sessions that ensure you receive individualised support along the entirety of the apprenticeship.
In addition to this, the successful candidate will be enrolled on a full CIM Foundation Certificate at no extra cost. This means that once you’re finished on the apprenticeship you’ll be awarded two distinct qualifications as opposed to one.
