Neon Filter is seeking an experienced Social Media Marketing Specialist to join our marketing team in Hook, Hampshire. Our ideal candidate will have experience managing organic social accounts for D2C brands alongside running paid social and influencer marketing campaigns.

You will have an exceptional track record of growing a social audience through paid and organic, improving follower engagement and increasing sales from social platforms. You must be skilled in content creation using tools such as Canva and Capcut alongside product photography and videography to create engaging social content.

This role requires you to plan & execute paid social media advertising across our various social media platforms. This includes creating and optimising ad content, campaign management and regular reporting. We’re looking for somebody with a strong track record with influencer marketing for e-commerce and DTC brands. You will be responsible for influencer campaign planning, outreach and regular management of our influencers.

You will play an important role in engaging with our audiences, improving brand awareness, recruiting brand ambassadors and influencers alongside generating interest and action in our custom neon signs and other neon products. Proven experience in social media marketing for retail or made-to-order manufacturing is essential for this role.

You must have strong communication and collaboration skills combined with a willingness to continuously learn and develop with a can-do attitude.

Key Responsibilities Of The Role

Paid Social Management

  • Planning and implementing successful paid social campaigns across our social accounts.
  • Running successful campaigns on Meta Ads Manager, LinkedIn Ads, Pinterest Ads and TikTok Ads Manager.
  • Create engaging ads for all platforms using design tools such as Canva, AI & Photoshop.

Influencer Management

  • Manage the influencer marketing programme.
  • Organise content deals & promotions with influencers and collate delivered content.

Content Creation

  • Create varied content in our studio for use on social media & across digital platforms.
  • Find & collate user-generated content from our social followers.

Social Strategy & Engagement

  • Collaborate with the wider marketing team to develop social media marketing strategies that align with the overall marketing objectives.
  • Plan engaging posting schedules across our social media accounts (Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, TikTok, LinkedIn)
  • Regularly review & optimise posting schedules based on data
  • Engage with our social community & influencers as our brand
  • Identify new social platforms as they arise

Testing & optimisation

  • Review performance to gain insights that inform the future social media strategy.
  • Optimise posting schedule and content towards well-performing posts.
  • Test different post formats and post content types across our social accounts.

Analysis & reporting

  • Monitor key social media metrics and generate weekly reports showcasing post performance and opportunities to improve further.

Key Skills

  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a social media marketing role
  • Experience in running successful paid social media marketing campaigns
  • Experience with influencer management
  • Proven experience of successful social media marketing across multiple platforms: Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, LinkedIn, TikTok
  • Skilled in photography, videography, video editing and graphic design.
  • Skilled at planning & creating social media content that engages audiences
  • Strong writing skills (long and short-form content)
  • Analytical mindset & ability to report on success to optimise performance
  • Experience in content testing within social media marketing
  • Strong organisation skills & ability to manage own time effectively
  • Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate as part of a team
  • UK driving license

Additional Skills (not required, but admired)

  • Experience with email marketing and search PPC
  • Knowledge of SEO & writing for SEO

This role’s hours are 9 am - 5 pm, Monday to Friday. This role is on-site only, with no remote working due to the nature of the business. Please do not apply unless you can commute to South Warnborough (Near Hook), Hampshire, UK. Parking on-site is free and is easily accessible off J5 of the M3.
