Signs 2 Signs, a continuous improvement company practising 2 Second Lean, has been crafting bespoke signage for over 18 years. We follow clearly defined Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure every project is completed to the highest standards while maintaining an efficient workflow.

We are looking for a CAD/CNC-oriented individual with a passion for digital design and physical making. Whether you’ve created precise CNC toolpaths or designed projects using Vectric VCarve or AutoCAD, this role will put your skills into action — turning designs into stand-out signs seen across the UK.

What You'll Do:

• Use Vectric VCarve, AutoCAD, or similar CAD software to prepare artwork and cut files for CNC and laser machines.
• Operate our AXYZ CNC router, Trotec laser, and other production equipment to produce acrylic, aluminium, and metal signage.
• Craft bespoke signage including flat cut letters, 3D built-up forms, and illuminated signs.
• Follow detailed SOPs and participate in our Lean improvement culture.
• Collaborate with a skilled team and contribute to creative problem-solving and production flow.

Who We're Looking For:

• Someone with experience using CAD software and ideally CNC routing or laser cutting.
• Confident using tools like VCarve, AutoCAD, or similar platforms.
• Hands-on and detail-focused with a background in signage, fabrication, joinery, or similar.
• A team player who’s excited to work in a company built on Lean principles and continuous improvement.

Working Hours:

• Monday to Friday
• 7:50 am – 4:50 pm (with a 30-minute lunch break and one 15-minute break)
• Total: 41.25 hours per week
