The Opportunity

As a Video Producer, you will play a pivotal role in the creation and execution of high-quality video content. This multifaceted position involves project management, creative direction, technical expertise, and collaboration with various teams to produce engaging videos that align with Bright’s goals and brand identity. As member of the marketing team, you will lead the creation of product overview/explainer videos, step-by-step product tutorials and customer case study videos.

Responsibilities:

  • Project Management:
  • Develop and manage project timelines, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Coordinate pre-production, production, and post-production activities.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather project requirements and specifications.
  • Creative Direction / Concept Development / Storyboarding / Script Writing
  • Collaborate the wider marketing team to understand departmental objectives, target audience, and brand identity.
  • Develop creative concepts and ideas that align with marketing goals and effectively communicate the desired message.
  • Write or collaborate with copywriters to create compelling storyboards and scripts that effectively convey the marketing message and align with the Bright brand's voice and identity. Ensure that scripts are concise, engaging, and focused on key points.
  • Ensure that the creative vision aligns with the organisation's messaging and brand guidelines.
  • Production:
  • Oversee and manage the video production process. Ensure that production schedules are adhered to, shots are captured effectively, and the creative vision is executed.
  • Utilise video editing software and tools to create, edit and enhance footage, incorporating graphics, animations and music.
  • Create a cohesive and visually appealing final product that aligns with the marketing objectives and effectively communicates the desired message.
  • Technical Expertise:
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in video production.
  • Ensure the use of up-to-date equipment and software to maintain high production standards.
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide recommendations on how to improve video performance metrics.
  • Collaboration:
  • Work closely with marketing, Employer Branding, Product, Support and other departments to understand project objectives, deliverables and timelines.
  • Foster positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, incorporating their feedback to ensure the final product is engaging and impactful.

Ideally, the successful candidate will have:

  • Proven experience as a Video Producer or similar role.
  • Strong portfolio showcasing successful video projects.
  • Proficiency in video editing software and other relevant tools.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills.
  • Creative mindset with the ability to think outside the box.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of current trends in video production and digital media.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
