Job description

Graphic Designer & Videographer

Location: Cambridge | Working Pattern: Full-time (4-day week, Tuesday to Friday)

Ready to join one of the UK's fastest growing re-commerce brands?

WeBuyVintage is on the hunt for a strategic, ambitious, and hands-on Graphic Designer & Videographer to lead and shape the next chapter of our brand and growth.

This isn't a traditional agency role - it's a rare in-house creative opportunity to work end-to-end across brand, content, digital and print - all while helping to build something disruptive, exciting and distinctive.

We're a business that puts people first. With a 4 day working week (because work-life balance matters!), our city-centre Cambridge office is shared with other start-ups and creators with unlimited barista coffee, beer on tap, events and an energy that makes work feel exciting again.

Who We Are

WeBuyVintage is a leading UK buyer of jewellery, antiques and collectibles. We run more roadshows (or valuation days) than any other company in the UK - 100+ per month. We bring our trusted valuation and buying service to the heart of communities across the country.

In less than 2 years, we've grown into an 8-figure revenue business and we're developing new disruptive ventures to continue our exponential growth. The opportunity ahead is massive - and we're looking for the right person to help us fulfil our potential.

The Role

You’ll take a leading role in developing creative assets that help us executive our endless list of ideas. Working closely with the founding team, and to be appointed Head of Marketing, you will support the development of our brand identity, content production, print advertising, and much more. You must be comfortable developing content for both online and offline purposes.

Key Responsibilities

· Design brand assets across print and digital (social graphics, flyers, posters, ads, signage, POS, and much more).

· Edit short-form videos for social media clips and our internal use.

· Lead on content production - capturing high-quality product, people and location content.

· Help maintain and evolve brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all channels.

· Collaborate with the wider business on campaign execution and creative direction.

· Bring fresh ideas to the table and suggest creative campaigns and content formats.

It's important that you are a capable graphic designer & editor who can also get behind the camera and produce high quality content.

What We’re Looking For:

· 3+ years of experience in a creative content or graphic design role (in-house or agency)

· Confident using Adobe Creative Studio (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Premier Pro)

· Experience creating short-form video content optimised for social, particularly for an over 50s audience

· Strong eye for typography, layout and consistency

· Comfortable taking a brief and managing your workflow across multiple projects.

· You're an ideas person!

Travel will be required for content production so you must have a Full UK driving license.

What We Offer:

· Competitive salary

· True work life balance with a 4-day working week (Tuesday to Friday).

· Opportunity to work with and report into the founding team.

· A collaborative, ambitious team in a people-first organisation.

· Free coffee, tea and beer on tap in one of Cambridge's most vibrant spaces.

How to Apply

Interested? We’d love to hear from you.

Please submit your CV and a short cover letter explaining your experience and why you’re interested in this role, or for any questions please email andrew.w@webuyvintage.co.uk.
