Full job description

This is a varied role combining marketing, technology, event operations and digital projects. We are looking for someone who enjoys solving problems, learning new systems and finding smarter ways of working. The role offers significant variety, from supporting the delivery of conferences across the UK to managing and delivering marketing campaigns.

At Ah!media, we run exclusive, invitation-only conferences designed to spark meaningful connections, deliver pre-qualified leads, showcase thought leadership, and elevate brand awareness in niche markets. These events bring end users and service providers together for targeted networking and efficient, data-driven business development.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Creating and managing email marketing campaigns to existing vendors and prospects
  • Defining, measuring and reporting on the performance of marketing campaigns
  • Producing reports, dashboards and business insights using Excel and other software tools
  • Creating automations and process improvements using Excel, VBA, Power Automate and other technologies
  • Testing new websites, digital products and internal systems, identifying bugs and recommending improvements
  • Running AV equipment and supporting the technical delivery of conferences across the UK
  • Capturing professional-quality photography and video content at events
  • Editing video interviews, promotional videos and event highlights using Adobe Premiere Pro
  • Performing market research to gain insight into competitor activity and industry developments

Essential Skills and Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree or relevant experience(s) in marketing, media, advertising, journalism, communications or related field is a must
  • Strong IT skills and a genuine interest in technology
  • Advanced Excel skills, including formulas, reporting and data manipulation
  • Experience with Excel Macros, VBA, Power Automate or similar automation tools
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think creatively when faced with challenges
  • Comfortable learning and working with new software platforms and technologies
  • Experience using Adobe Premiere Pro or similar video editing software
  • Understanding of photography principles including framing, composition and lighting
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

The Nuts and Bolts:

  • Base salary: £27,000 to 30,000 plus uncapped commission
  • 2 weeks off over Christmas
  • Newly refurbished, vibrant town-centre office with on-site gym and stocked kitchen
  • Monday to Friday: 09.00 to 17.30 (This role is 100% office-based where not travelling)
  • Extensive UK travel - approximately 60%
