Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Sports Card Breaker to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for professionally breaking open trading card packs (most specifically sports cards), ensuring the safety and integrity of each product, and creating engaging content for our community. This role offers an exciting opportunity for sports enthusiasts and collectors in general to share their enthusiasm while developing their skills in a vibrant environment. Training will be provided to the successful candidates.

Responsibilities

  • Carefully open and display sports trading card packs, ensuring no damage to valuable cards
  • Maintain a high level of organisation and cleanliness during the breaking process
  • Create engaging unboxing videos or live streams to share with our online community
  • Identify and highlight rare or valuable cards, providing accurate descriptions and valuations
  • Assist in managing inventory of cards and related merchandise
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures during the breaking process
  • Engage with fans and collectors through social media platforms, fostering a positive community atmosphere
  • Packing the opened cards

Qualifications

  • Passionate about sports, trading cards, or collectibles with a good knowledge of various sports leagues and players
  • Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, confident in engaging with an online audience
  • Experience with video recording or live streaming is desirable but not essential
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic understanding of card grading or valuation is advantageous but not mandatory
  • Reliable with good organisational habits and respect for safety procedures

This role offers an exciting opportunity to combine a love for sports with content creation, catering to the growing community of trading card enthusiasts.

The role works on a commission basis. This will be broken down for yourself if successful.
