We're a bunch of passionate creatives, obsessed with delivering exceptional customer-focused messages through our Phoenix brands and we're on the hunt for a talented designer to join our dynamic team.

Job Type: 12-month fixed term contract
Location: This role could be based in either our London or Edinburgh offices with time spent working in the office and at home.
Flexible working: All of our roles are open to part-time, job-share and other types of flexibility. We will discuss what is important to you and balancing this with business requirements during the recruitment process.
Salary and benefits: c.£38,000 - £43,000 depending on experience plus 8% bonus up to 16%, private medical cover, 38 days annual leave, excellent pension, 12x salary life assurance, career breaks, income protection, 3x volunteering days and much more

The Role
As our Creative Designer, you'll play a pivotal role in developing innovative concepts and designing compelling communications that resonate with our audience. With a strong background in graphic design and a keen eye for detail, you'll transform strategic ideas into visually stunning and actionable creative content.
This role sits in the creative delivery department, with marketing reporting to our Head of Creative Services.
Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and design high-quality graphics for social media, email campaigns, and other digital platforms.
  • Utilize Adobe Creative Suite and Premiere Pro to create visually compelling content.
  • Turn strategic concepts into creative executions that enhance brand perception and inspire action.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver cohesive and impactful designs.
  • Ensure all designs adhere to brand guidelines and industry regulations.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, meeting deadlines without compromising quality.
What We're Looking For
  • Proven experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and XD.
  • Strong skills in animation and video editing for both internal and external communications.
  • Bonus: 3D animation skills and working knowledge of UX/UI for digital designs.
  • A solid portfolio showcasing responsive, brand-enhancing work.
  • A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality design.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated creativity within the confines of a regulatory and technical industry.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent presentation skills, capable of bringing your vision to life and exciting your audience.
