Full job description

The Event Technology Group (TETG) is one of the UK's leading technical event production companies. Based in Bracknell with offices in London and Manchester, we deliver over 500 events per year in the UK and overseas for some of the biggest brands in the world ranging from Coca Cola, Louis Vuitton, Burberry, L'Oréal, ITV and London Fashion Week to name a few.

We also deliver exhibitions, conferences and AGMs for some of the FTSE 500 corporate clients as well as private parties for some of the world's richest families.

The group is made up of 5 different business units steeped in event history covering everything from event production, technical AV delivery, staging, sound, set build and design.

Location: Western Road, Bracknell

Duties:

  • Install technical equipment at a range of venues and manage the derigs
  • Transport kit to and from site in company vehicles
  • Present a professional image with clients, venue staff and other suppliers
  • Select and prepare the correct equipment for each technical kit list
  • Ensure all equipment picked is clean, in proper working order and correctly labelled
  • Use warehouse software to scan equipment in and out for each job/dry hire to enable effective stock control for kit availability and location
  • Pack flight cases carefully to ensure safety of equipment in transit
  • Ensure all equipment is returned in clean and working order to the correct shelving area
  • Separate equipment needing repair and label accordingly
  • Ensure all warehouse documentation and administrative processes are completed effectively
  • Respond to last minute equipment requests from Project Managers/Engineers on site ensuring requests are actioned promptly and effectively
  • Complete general warehouse duties including cleaning and tidying all warehouse area

Experience

  • Experience in warehouse work within the live events industry
  • Experience working with technical aspects of lighting, sound and/or video equipment

  • Physically active and able to work at pace throughout the working day
  • Resilient and able to exert additional effort to ensure every job is delivered to high standards
  • Ability to anticipate and resolve last minute problems quickly and pragmatically
  • Ability to prepare and operate a wide range of equipment
  • Forklift license would be advantageous
  • Computer literate with the ability to learn and assimilate new software
  • Communicates well with colleagues
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
  • Full clean UK Driving licence to enable driving of company vehicles to/from site

Hours:

Office hours, with flexible working and overtime as and when required.
