Conference Producer
WHD Event is in the human connection business—we bring people together to make 1+1=100. Our events connect professionals in areas of technology that tie the world together, charting the future of how the world uses the internet. Humanity is at the heart of our mission, making sure that the soul of creativity and empathy lives in what we do and how we do it. Meet our two main events:
CloudFest is the #1 cloud computing conference in the world, bringing together over 9,000 top executives and innovators in the Cloud, hosting, and internet service provider industries. Each year we take over a theme park in Germany’s Black Forest for round-the-clock learning, sharing, and celebrating. We even have our own music festival, with music legends as special guests!
MSP GLOBAL is the newest and most exciting event for the international managed service provider industry. Each year over 2,500 digital transformation leaders meet at PortAventura Theme Park near Barcelona, Spain to learn, network, form new partnerships, and fun doing so.
To produce the best-in-class tech events with relevant and refreshing agendas, we are looking for a Conference Producer to help us elevate these two festivals:
Your Responsibilities: Together with the existing content, sales, and marketing teams you will be responsible to produce the conference programs for CloudFest and MSP Global.
- Learn the driving forces and challenges in the cloud service provider and managed service provider ecosystems
- Understand the competitive landscape and key market players
- Collaborate on agenda development, keynote and other speaker invitations, and ensure that all are executed in an organized manner aligned with the established marketing calendar
- Collaborate with the sales team and clients on including paid speakers in the agenda in a way that’s mutually beneficial
- Participate in sales calls as needed to share the vision of the event agenda
- Be a liaison with advisory board and important community members, establishing a positive working relationship with key industry stakeholders
- Collect speaker photos, bios, and session descriptions as needed
- Website/App updates that pertain to the agenda and content
- Assist in the production of our newsletters. Your responsibilities will include producing original blog posts and a collection of relevant industry headlines
- Assist marketing team with the creation of agenda-related email content and social media posts
