Creative Services Manager
Location: Brighton
Salary: £39,000 – £50,440 per annum
At BIMM University, we're more than just an educational institution; we're a vibrant community dedicated to nurturing creativity and empowering students to reach their full potential. With campuses across the UK, Ireland, and Germany, we offer a diverse range of courses in modern music, performing arts, filmmaking and creative technology. Our commitment to excellence in creative arts education sets us apart, providing students with the knowledge, skills, and opportunities they need to succeed in their chosen fields.
About the Role
As Creative Services Manager, you'll lead the day-to-day operation of our Creative Services function, ensuring projects are planned, prioritised and delivered effectively. Working across a varied portfolio of campaigns, content and brand activity, you'll bring structure, clarity and consistency to creative delivery, enabling the team to produce high-quality work that supports BIMM University's strategic objectives.
What You’ll Do:
- Manage the day-to-day operation of Creative Services, ensuring work is planned, prioritised and delivered effectively.
- Oversee workflows, briefing processes, production schedules and the creative pipeline, ensuring projects progress smoothly from concept to delivery.
- Translate briefs into clear delivery plans, ensuring objectives, scope, timelines and expectations are understood from the outset.
- Coordinate and prioritise work across campaigns, content and business-as-usual activity, adapting plans as priorities change.
- Allocate work across design, video and other disciplines based on capacity, capability and deadlines.
- Maintain oversight of production schedules, proactively identifying risks, resolving issues and managing dependencies.
- Ensure all outputs meet brand standards, quality expectations and agreed objectives.
- Improve briefing, feedback and approval processes to increase efficiency and reduce rework.
- Act as the key operational link between Creative Services and marketing, recruitment and academic stakeholders.
- Manage external suppliers where required, ensuring quality, consistency and value for money.
- Support the wellbeing and development of the team through effective planning, communication and clear expectations.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of creative operations, tools and ways of working.
What You’ll Bring:
- Proven experience managing workflows, schedules and delivery within a busy creative, marketing or content-focused environment.
- Strong organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines.
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams, including design, content and video production.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to build effective working relationships across a range of audiences.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
- Experience implementing or improving processes and ways of working to enhance efficiency and delivery.
- Experience working within a complex, multi-stakeholder environment would be advantageous.
To support the needs of the team, the successful candidate will be expected to be in post by 1st December 2026. Please consider this timeframe when applying.
We encourage early applications, as we may close the advert ahead of the stated deadline if we receive a high volume of interest.
