Are you an experienced digital marketing all-rounder looking for a varied role? Are you looking for a job that blends your creativity (words, images & video) with your technical skills (website, SEO, PPC & Analytics)?

We are looking for someone to be part of our Brighton-based team and take the lead with our website, digital adverts & socials. You will play a key role in helping us attract new clients and secure our position as a high-quality provider of event registration solutions.

Who are we?

Event Connections provides event registration services to conference and exhibition organisers. We provide high quality solutions using our event technology alongside great customer service.

Job role:

  • Help shape and deliver effective digital marketing plans.
  • Oversee the existing website and lead on future development of the site.
  • Manage and optimise PPC activity and monitor / report on all aspects of these accounts.
  • Oversee SEO analysis and content planning to enhance organic visibility and maintain a strong understanding of technical website build and CMS to ensure optimal online presence.
  • Develop and build a presence on social media (esp. LinkedIn).
  • Create engaging content for the website and LinkedIn including visuals, written and video content.
  • Stay on top of digital trends, tools and algorithm updates, bringing fresh ideas and new energy to our digital strategy.
  • Provide in-depth analysis and insightful reporting on all digital marketing activities.
  • Assist with digital design assets for projects like badge designs and web banners.
  • Occasionally assist our team at events on-site across the UK and beyond.

Essentials

  • Experience of website management and content creation via a CMS on platforms like Squarespace.
  • Good understanding of Google Ads and LinkedIn paid advertising including how to create & manage campaigns and how to maximise ROI.
  • Good knowledge of SEO implementation to ensure we have a strong organic reach online that matches our core services.
  • Good working knowledge of Adobe software, especially Illustrator. Experience of basic video editing would be an advantage.
  • Strong analytical skills. Experience of using Google GA4 with the ability to identify trends, draw conclusions, and make data-driven recommendations.
  • A proactive problem-solver with meticulous attention to detail and a commercial mindset.
  • Organised, methodical but flexible approach to work. Self-motivated but also able to work in fluid and often time-pressured environments as part of team.

Terms

  • Based from our office in Brighton.
  • Full-time, with occasional travel, long days and/or overnights at events (with time off in lieu).
  • Base salary of £35 - £40k depending on experience and capabilities.
  • We have an annual bonus scheme linked to company performance.
  • 25 days’ holiday, (3 of which must be taken between Christmas and New Year) plus 8 Public Holidays.
