Social Media Content Creator

The Role

As Social Media Content Creator, you will be responsible for planning, creating, and publishing engaging content across our social media channels. You will bring our brand story to life through compelling photography, video, and written content that showcases our products, craftsmanship, and customer experiences.

Working closely with the marketing, e-commerce, and workshop teams, you will develop content that drives brand awareness, audience growth, engagement, and sales.

Key Responsibilities

Content Creation

  • Create high-quality photo and video content for social media platforms including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, Pinterest, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
  • Produce engaging short-form video content, including Reels, TikToks, behind-the-scenes footage, product showcases, and customer stories.
  • Capture content in workshops, studios, retail environments, and at events.
  • Write compelling captions, social media copy, and storytelling content aligned with the brand voice.
  • Edit images and videos for publication across digital channels.
  • CRM creation

Social Media Management

  • Plan, schedule, and publish content according to the social media calendar.
  • Monitor platform trends, emerging content formats, and industry developments.
  • Manage day-to-day social media activity and community engagement.
  • Respond to comments, messages, and customer interactions in a professional and timely manner.
  • Support social media campaigns, product launches, seasonal promotions, and brand collaborations.
  • Create Social Media calendar

Brand & Marketing Support

  • Work closely with the marketing team to support wider digital marketing initiatives.
  • Help identify opportunities to increase brand awareness and customer engagement.
  • Collaborate with influencers, creators, brand ambassadors, and partners where appropriate.
  • Assist in gathering and creating user-generated content.
  • Ensure all content reflects the brand's visual identity and values.
  • Manage printed assets

Performance & Reporting

  • Monitor content performance using platform analytics and reporting tools.
  • Track engagement, audience growth, reach, and conversion metrics.
  • Provide recommendations for improving content effectiveness and campaign performance.

Skills and Experience

Essential

  • Proven experience creating content for social media platforms.
  • Strong photography and videography skills, particularly for products and lifestyle content.
  • Experience editing video content for Instagram Reels, TikTok, and other short-form platforms.
  • Excellent written communication and copywriting skills.
  • Good understanding of social media trends, algorithms, and best practices.
  • Strong organisational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively within a small business environment.

Desirable

  • Experience working within jewellery, fashion, luxury goods, beauty, lifestyle, or e-commerce brands.
  • Proficiency in content creation tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, CapCut, Lightroom, or similar.
  • Experience with influencer marketing and creator partnerships.
  • Understanding of social commerce and e-commerce marketing.
  • Basic knowledge of paid social advertising.
