Job Title: Videographer / Editor

Reports To: Senior Producer/Agency Manager

Location: Office Based - Peterborough

Role overview:

Join us as a Videographer/Editor for our one of our flagship podcasts where you will play a pivotal role in shaping the visual narrative of our content. The videographer prepares, shoots and edits all video and audio productions.

A key part of this role is going beyond the purely technical aspects of videography and understanding our subjects, the content and the audience of every project to maximise effectiveness. Your responsibilities will include shooting on location with the host, setting up and recording video, lighting and audio equipment, meticulous organization and logging of video footage from SD cards, bringing depth to our discussions through the artful editing of multicam interviews, and crafting engaging episode trailers that captivate our audience.

Collaboration is at the heart of this role, as you will liaise with our in-house team and freelancers to curate compelling social media content that aligns with our brand image. Your creative touch will be crucial in producing captivating social media clips, enhancing our online presence and driving engagement across various platforms.

With an acute eye for detail, you will be responsible for reviewing and optimising content on social media, ensuring our visual storytelling aligns seamlessly with the essence of our brand.

The role:

  • Understand and define great content for disruptive and controversial YouTube/social media videos
  • Keep up to date with current social media trends and obtain feedback and analytics on our content and look at how we can improve or replicate our message.
  • Work closely with members of the branding and agency team to create compelling content.
  • Edit and distribute projects to agreed specifications and deadlines.
  • Must be able to work to tight deadlines/scheduling changes.
  • Manage your work schedule effectively, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Ensure expertise in professional audio and/or video editing and post-production procedures, techniques, and standards.
  • Keep track of and learn from other influencers in the industry.
  • Be willing to work unsocial hours depending on shoot availability
  • Other job-related duties as assigned.

Essential Skills:

· Must have knowledge of Camera, Lighting and Audio equipment

· Proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro

· Adaptable to changes and deadlines

· Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite Desirable

· Full UK Driving Licence
