Full job description

Gardeners Dream Ltd is a leading online garden centre, supplying high-quality plants, trees, and garden accessories across the UK.

We’re looking for an experienced and dynamic Gardener who is able to produce informative content for our customers.

The role will involve producing written content for our blog and appearing in videos for social media channels. Technical video production will be managed by the wider marketing team. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned gardener with their own garden and extensive knowledge of garden design and growing tips.

Past experience of talking on camera is not required but will be a large part of the role.

Main Purpose of the job

To help us improve the level of gardening content we are producing and help us provide our customers and the wider gardening community with helpful information. The content horticulturist will work with the marketing team on content ideas & production.

Skills & Experience

Being confident speaking in front of camera & experience in writing articles will be the 2 most important aspects of the role along with an overall passion for all things gardening.

Horticulture: 1 year (required)

Landscaping: 1 year (preferred)

Social media marketing: 1 year (preferred)

Copywriting: 1 year (preferred)

SEO: 1 year (preferred)

Work Location: Hybrid - Kilsyth site/shoot locations/from home for written work

Must be able to travel to Kilsyth site 1 day p/w 10am-4pm
Role can be contracted salary or freelance depending on candidate preference
