Social Media / Digital Coordinator – Composite Prime

About Us

Established in 2014 in the heart of Yorkshire, Composite Prime is one of the UK’s fastest-growing composite decking brands, operating at the premium end of the market.

We are focused on driving demand for our luxury product ranges and supporting our national network of stockists and installers. We are now looking for a commercially minded Social Media / Digital Coordinator to help generate leads, drive engagement, and support sales growth.

The Role

This is a hands-on, results-driven role where digital activity directly supports revenue. You will be responsible for managing our online presence, creating high-quality content, and helping to generate demand that converts into sales opportunities for our team and Boutique partners.

This role suits someone who combines creative flair with commercial awareness - understanding that strong content must ultimately drive enquiries and sales.

Key Responsibilities

Demand Generation & Digital Performance

  • Support lead generation through social, website and email activity
  • Monitor and report on campaign performance, traffic and conversions
  • Work closely with the Sales team to align activity with commercial priorities
  • Continuously improve digital performance through testing and optimisation

Website & Digital

  • Maintain and update the company website to ensure it is current, accurate and conversion-focused
  • Manage incoming web enquiries and ensure timely follow-up
  • Create SEO-driven blog content to increase organic traffic and lead flow
  • Monitor performance via Google Analytics and recommend improvements
  • Create and optimise visual content for web use

Social Media (Sales-Focused)

  • Plan, create and schedule content designed to drive engagement and enquiries
  • Maintain a consistent, premium brand presence across all platforms
  • Actively manage messages, comments and inbound leads
  • Engage with target audiences, including landscapers, designers and merchants
  • Identify and collaborate with influencers and partners to expand reach

Creative & Design

  • Create high-quality visual content including social posts, adverts, email graphics and website assets
  • Work with photography, video and design external resources to produce premium content
  • Ensure all creative output aligns with brand positioning and supports sales messaging
  • Continuously bring new ideas for content, campaigns and visual storytelling

Email Marketing

  • Build and distribute targeted email campaigns to drive engagement and sales
  • Manage campaign schedules and segmentation
  • Track performance and optimise for improved results

General Support

  • Support the Sales & Marketing Director and wider team with day-to-day activity
  • Organising printed POS material with suppliers
  • Assist with general office duties when required
  • Contribute ideas to improve lead generation, brand presence and overall performance

About You

  • Commercially minded - understands that marketing must drive sales
  • Creative, with a strong eye for design and content quality
  • A proactive self-starter who takes ownership of their role
  • Organised and able to manage multiple priorities
  • A strong team player who works well with sales and external partners
  • Confident communicator in a B2B & B2C environment

Skills & Experience

  • Experience in digital marketing with a focus on lead generation
  • Strong content creation and design capability
  • Understanding of social media as a sales and engagement tool
  • Good analytical mindset - comfortable reviewing performance data
  • Strong customer service approach

Working Knowledge Of:

  • WordPress
  • Email platforms (Hubspot)
  • Social media tools
  • SEO tools (SEMrush or similar)
  • Graphic design tools
