Hybrid role - 2 days a week in our Leigh-on-sea office and travel across the UK & internationally.
Salary: Dependent on experience.
We’re on the lookout for a talented and enthusiastic Videographer & Editor to join our creative team at dmb films.
We help our clients inspire their people through video. If you love telling stories, have a sharp eye for detail, bringing the content we capture to life with slick edits and dynamic motion graphics, this could be the perfect role for you!
You’ll need to be confident behind the camera, but your real expertise will be in video editing and motion graphics.
We’re looking for someone with at least 6 years of experience in an agency or as a freelancer, an in-depth knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro, and solid skills in After Effects.
You’ll be the kind of person who delivers top-quality work first time, every time, and enjoys pushing creative boundaries.
At dmb films, our values shape everything we do. Our Vision is to be the first choice for high-quality, creative video content. Our Mission is to create video magic - bringing corporate and commercial content to life with engaging and reliable production.
We’re looking for someone who’s organised, manages their time well, and works seamlessly with others. Our clients are number one and we work closely with them so you'll need to be a people-person that can make their experience excellent.
This role involves some national and international travel, so you’ll need to be flexible and up for the adventure!
You’ll also be based at our office in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex, for at least two days a week, unless we’re out on location, with flexibility to work remotely on other days.
What You’ll Be Doing
Videography & Production
- Plan, shoot, and deliver high-quality video content, including interviews, events, promotional videos, and social media assets.
- Use a range of cameras, lighting setups, and audio equipment to capture professional footage.
- Work closely with our creative team to plan and execute shoots that bring ideas to life.
Editing & Post-Production
- Edit footage into engaging, polished videos using Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Add motion graphics, animations, and effects in After Effects to enhance storytelling.
- Colour-correct and grade footage to ensure a consistent, high-quality look.
- Mix and enhance audio for clear, professional sound.
- Keep files organised and easy to access for storage purposes and future projects.
Collaboration & Creativity
- Work closely with our creative team to ensure videos align with project goals and brand guidelines.
- Bring fresh ideas and creative input during planning stages.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and new tools to keep our content looking sharp.
What We’re Looking For
Must-Haves
- Expert-level skills in Adobe Premiere Pro and a proficiency in Adobe After Effects.
- Strong videography skills, including camera operation, lighting, and audio.

- Excellent time management skills and the ability to manage multiple projects at once and meet deadlines.
- A positive, team-focused attitude - you’ll work closely with others and need strong communication skills.
- Willingness to travel for work (both in the UK and internationally) and be flexible to meet shoot requirements.
- 6+ years of professional experience in video production and editing in an agency/freelance.
- Understanding of video trends.
- Full driving licence and access to a vehicle.
Nice to Haves
- Experience in using AI tools in post production is a bonus.
- Experience in photography and still image editing.
