We’re looking for a Digital Designer/Graphic Designer to join our team in Macclesfield town centre and grow our existing Creative department.

We’re a small digital marketing firm that offers a full-service solution to clients all around the world, but primarily in the UK and US. About the role: 

At Gumpo, we are passionate about creating visually compelling and user-friendly digital experiences through innovative and engaging web design and video content. We are a full-service marketing agency in the UK and we're looking for a talented Designer to join our dynamic team. Your work will be at the heart of our creative strategies, helping to drive user engagement, improve conversion rates, and elevate our clients' online presence. 

This Designer will have experience: 

  • Production of high-quality designs using industry-standard tools like Figma and Adobe Creative Suite.
  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite such as Photoshop and Illustrator.
  • Proficient in video editing and creating engaging visual content using tools like Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects.
  • Applying UX research and best practices to create engaging user experiences.
  • Developing and executing creative ideas for various platforms while ensuring all brand assets adhere to established guidelines and align with marketing and project objectives.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present and explain concepts effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Working with the Creative and Motion Design Manager to ensure projects align with creative goals and brand standards.
  • Collaborating with design teams, marketing teams, and developers on varied projects.
  • Taking ideas from concept to execution, delivering effective user experiences.
  • Producing UX design solutions such as wireframes, prototypes, and storyboards.
  • Working with developers to ensure website functionality aligns with design.
  • Staying up to date with the latest design trends, tools, and techniques to bring fresh ideas to projects.
  • Maintaining consistency across all digital touchpoints and managing multiple projects.
  • Ensuring all brand assets align with guidelines and marketing objectives.

Desirable

  • Excellent visual design skills, including typography and colour theory.
  • Experience with animation and motion graphics (After Effects, Blender).
  • Experience with print design and Adobe InDesign.
  • Research skills for competitor analysis.
  • Familiarity with web project management practices and collaboration tools.

What You’ll Need

  • CV and Creative Portfolio showcasing design fundamentals, creativity and proficiency across applications.
  • 2-3 years of design experience, preferably in a digital marketing or agency environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: £24,000.00-£27,500.00 per year

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
