Video jobs in Merthyr Tydfil

Job Summary

We're seeking a fun and proactive short-form editor to take on the editing and content creation for our social media channels.

About Us: We're the couple behind Restoring Number Four - a social media channel following the DIY renovation of a house in South Wales. Our instagram community is over 420k and 100k on Youtube, and growing. We are a small team, and work closely with select members to help us produce weekly engaging content. We are looking to expand this team by hiring a short-form editor to produce primarily shorts and reels (as well as other content) for all platforms.

Role Description This is a freelance, remote short-form Video Editor role based in South Wales preferably, but happy to consider further afield for the right person. We're looking for someone that has the time and passion to edit and help with conceptualisation of content for instagram mainly. This would be a great opportunity for someone looking to take on a role with freedom to come up with ideas (in line with our tone of voice and style) and help grow an already established audience. This will involve clipping reels from long form edits, conceptualising new content for us to film and schedule an engaging content calendar for our page to continue to grow.

We are looking for someone that will be able to produce a minimum of 4-5 reels and 3 carousel posts a week. Days worked are flexible and dependant on how much content is created, but looking to start with 2-3 days a week. The role can be strictly remote, or if local, can include visits on site to capture any extra content.

It's a great opportunity for anyone seeking to learn more about content creation and be part of a fast moving and growing brand.

• Experience creating content for platforms such as Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, or similar is beneficial.
