We are looking for a passionate content creator. You will have the broad skillset to create a range of content, from thumb scrolling blogs to co-ordinating UGC, video and motion. As well as having a keen eye for great content you will be a true marketer at heart and passionate about how we use our content effectively to support business objectives. The role is wonderfully diverse. As well as capturing the essence of our parks on social media you will take overall responsibility in ensuring our website content remains up to date and that we have a strong array of content to support our marketing campaigns.

To lead on the development, production and usage of content across the Hoburne Group including the management of our social media channels and the website content development plan.


Summary of Main Tasks/Duties


  • To create and manage our monthly content development calendar
  • To lead on the production of a series of blogs, vlogs, videos and website features
  • To ensure that our website content remains up-to-date and optimised to support business objectives
  • To lead on developing our social media strategy, ensuring that our channels showcase the best of Hoburne and working with on-park teams to ensure fresh and regular content
  • To review and incorporate emerging social media and content trends into our marketing strategy
  • To support on-park content generation
  • To support the central collation of assets
  • To develop and manage a network of influencers
  • To be accountable for the performance and growth of our Hoburne social media channels
  • To take accountability for our website content, ensuring key pages continue to be optimised and that all content is up-to-date and accurate
  • To ensure that investments in content are optimised to support business objectives.


Knowledge, Experience, Skills & Attributes


  • Strong planning skills with the mindset to think ahead but react to daily changes
  • Experience of website content management systems (CMS).
  • Experience in creating and maintaining social media accounts.
  • Experience of overseeing a content development plan
  • Ability to capture and edit video content for social media is essential
  • Knowledge of search engine optimisation (SEO).
  • Knowledge and understanding in using photoshop, Canva, adobe packages would be advantageous but not essential.
  • A digital Marketing apprenticeship / qualification would be advantageous


This role is permanent, working 40 hours a week. This role is based at our Group Support office in Christchurch, but travel will be required as part of the role.


The nature of our business necessitates that successful applicant may be required to work some evenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays. This would cover our events we do across the year like the New Forest Show.
