Please note that due to the nature of the live events industry this role includes working out of hours and occasionally at weekends. You will be required to work from different venues and locations predominantly in the Berkshire area.


  • To uphold the solid reputation for excellent customer service and ‘can-do’ attitude which ITM Ltd has earned with our clients for over our 30 years of being in business
  • As you will be working with our key accounts, you will have a natural passion for delivering strong client satisfaction with the ability to provide a level of service which sets out to exceed expectations.
  • To provide high quality, customer focused, meeting room support. This includes delivery, setting-up and testing a range of mobile and fixed AV equipment such as; laptops, projectors, monitors, video conferencing, PA speaker systems, varying types of microphones and staging.
  • To provide intensive and high quality, customer focused support of large conferences and live events. This includes the management of PowerPoint presentations, video files, the control of various microphones and via a digital mixing desk and the control of the stage/house lighting.
  • To work closely with the ITM Events Team in the smooth running of events, including rigs and de-rigs, and occasionally working on the events themselves.
  • To provide 1st line call centre support as needed, including client setups, room and equipment installations, checks and remediation as well as supporting quality checks and services.
  • To assist users by demonstration and advice, how to use the AV/IT equipment, in a friendly and patient manner.
  • To liaise with internal and external clients in advance of their events, in order to fully understand their requirements and successfully fulfil them on the day.
  • To arrange the hire of additional AV equipment when requested by clients.
  • To work closely with the Operations Manager, as well as other staff, in the maintaining and development of the venues.
  • To take a proactive attitude towards the upkeep of both the warehouse and equipment of ITM Ltd.
  • To liaise with management when AV equipment is in need of maintenance, reporting any faults or broken items of equipment.
  • To ensure all equipment delivered to clients is in a clean and working order.
  • To ensure all equipment hired to clients are returned in the status and condition they were delivered in.
  • To work closely with all staff to keep ITM Ltd a healthy and safe place to work for everyone. Any and all queries and issues relating to Health and Safety at base and on sites, be reported to management.
  • To be proactive towards your own and others health and safety, including the general public, whilst at work.
  • To be flexible in order to be able to work early mornings, late evenings and weekends, when required.
  • To keep up-to-date with current emerging AV technology.
  • To show willingness to develop your own skills and knowledge in all areas of AV.


  • Familiarity of using AV Equipment, although full training will be given.
  • The ability to communicate positively, courteously and accurately both verbally and in writing with clients and colleagues.
  • Builds rapport with customers and treats them consistently well.
  • Contributes to the success of the team.
  • Adapts own ways to meet customer needs.
  • Continually strives for professional improvement and takes responsibility for self-development.
  • Can manage lifting and moving of heavy equipment.


Proficient is Word, Excel, Outlook, 3D Design Software (Training can be given), Excellent Verbal and Written Communication.
